Our Story A Company Built on
Decades of Know-How
Astrotech Flow Controls was born from a straightforward observation: India had the talent to build precision control valves at a world-class level, but the industry lacked a focused contract manufacturer willing to operate to OEM-equivalent standards.
After nearly three decades working within the most demanding valve brands in the world — Masoneilan, IMI CCI, Circor, and KOSO — our founder Senthilkumar Ramadoss saw the gap clearly. Global OEM brands needed a reliable, technically credible manufacturing partner in India. Indian process industries needed a valve manufacturer that understood their exacting requirements without needing to be educated from scratch.
In early 2022, he assembled a founding team drawn from those same OEM networks and established Astrotech’s facility in Kalapatti, Coimbatore — a city already home to precision engineering clusters and a ready talent pool from the region’s machine-tool and auto-component industries. Every machine was selected with a specific tolerance target in mind. Every process was benchmarked against the QMS procedures the team had followed at their previous OEM employers.
