Bharathiyam Handicrafts, fondly known as the “House of Handicrafts” in Coimbatore, showcases a rich and diverse collection of artistic creations crafted by master artisans.

Our idols and sculptures are crafted using:
- Lost-Wax Casting (Madhu-Chakram method) for brass, bronze, and Panchaloha idols, ensuring perfect detailing and symmetry.
- Hand Carving for wooden artworks and toys, where artisans gradually reveal forms through precise chiseling and smoothing.
These time-honored methods give every piece a unique character and a soul of its own.

Only ethically sourced metals and natural materials are chosen—Brass (Pithalai), Bronze (Vengalam), Panchaloha alloys, seasoned wood, and traditional finishing elements. Each piece begins with a careful assessment of purity, density, and texture to ensure long-lasting beauty.

Artisans manually refine every contour—facial expressions, ornaments, textures, and symbolic motifs. This human touch ensures no two pieces are identical, making each creation a one-of-a-kind collectible.

Once sculpted, each item undergoes high-quality:
- Burnishing and polishing for a smooth, lustrous surface
- Hand-applied patinas for antique finishes
- Protective coats to preserve craftsmanship
Many idol pieces are also ritually blessed, honoring the sacred purpose they serve in homes and temples.
